Based on its history, Yogyakarta Cultural Park was first built around Gadja Mada University, Bulaksumur on March 11, 1977. Purna Budaya has two buildings, namely Pundi Wurya and Langembara. Pundi Wurya has facilities such as artistic stage, dance studio, library, discussion room, and administration. While Langembara become exhibition space, workshop space, canteen, and also some guest house.

The first building was called Concert Hall Taman Budaya. This building has a main room that serves as the official room for the holding of art exhibitions such as painting, sculpture, craft, and various crafts. The building also serves as an arts training room, literary discussion, and poetry reading room. The second building was named Societet Militair. This building is specialized to hold live performances of music, theater, and various traditional arts such as Dance, Wayang and Kethoprak performances. This building has a capacity of 500 spectators and supporting facilities such as lighting equipment as well as outdoor space as a publication space.
Price of admission
