It's no surprise that this tourist spot quickly became famous and viral on social media. The shape of the building or architecture is unique. From the outside, the shape is like a castle, according to its name. Many say The Lost World Castle is very similar to Takeshi Fortress on the famous Japanese reality show. Some people also call this building similar to The Great Wall or the great wall of China.
The Lost World Castle building does have a high gray wall with guard posts every few meters. It's like a castle before entering the kingdom or palace complex. The idea of this form of building must be admitted commercially smart because it successfully attracted the attention of visitors even before this place was officially opened. The Lost World Castle is built on an area of 1.3 hectares in the village of Kepuharjo. This area was burned in the eruption of Mount Merapi a few years ago. As if to remind of the enormity of the disaster, this place is called The Lost World or the world that has been lost.
In addition to the magnificent buildings like Fort Takeshi, in TLWC there are also some interesting photo spots. Utilizing the view of Mount Merapi which stands majestically, the manager builds a replica of a large wing, a ladder rising upwards with an archway at the end called paradise gate, and artificial clouds as a foothold. Wing and paradise gate backgrounds are the longest photo queue. If a lucky visitor arrives there when the fog drops, the photos are maximized. It was as if it was flying through the clouds, or walking towards 'heaven'.
